Reseller F.A.Q.s

Below are some answers to questions you may have. Find out how profitable it can be to have your own MinistryHosting.org Reseller account.

  • How quickly can my new client be setup and ready? You can setup a new client domain 24 hours a day right from your own Control Panel. It will be active within 10 minutes!

  • What about tech support? You are your client's direct tech support. We do not provide tech support to your clients directly. We do provide Help Desk, e-Mail or phone tech support directly to you which you can relay to your clients.

  • Who does my client actually pay? You. We will bill you for your Reseller services and you bill your client.  We will not bill your client.

  • Can I customize my client's Control Panels? You can change the verbiage and look of your client's Control Panels to present your very professional image.

  • How does my client upgrade to a larger site? If your client wants to upgrade to a larger package, you can do it at any time using your powerful Reseller Control Panel.

  • Do I have to pay by credit card? Yes. When a Reseller does not pay any bill, our automated system will not only suspend the Reseller domain, but also all his/her resold domains. Therefore, Resellers MUST pay by credit card and NOT by check since checks often do not arrive and clear in time to avoid problems. You may accept any form of payment you wish from your clients.

  • What if my resold client sends out SPAM? This is a serious offense at any hosting company since it can cause all our clients to suffer. If our security software discovers a site SPAMMING that site will be deleted totally from our servers. You need to convey the seriousness of this to any new client. 

  • What about additional data transfer over the allowed amounts? You will be charged $3 per Gigabyte for any data transfer over the allotted amount on any Reseller plan. You should charge your clients appropriately.
